Thank You and Lets get Infused.

Why Alcohol Tinctures Work Best for Canna Sugars:

There are a few things you need to do first before making canna sugar. Here’s what you need to do first:  First thing is to make the make the Ice Dragon Tincture using decarboxylated cannabis.

The process of making Ice Dragon Tincture is using alcohol as a solvent to extract THC and CBD from cannabis. The end result is concentrated cannabis extract.

Using the Ice Dragon method for alcohol extraction is a fast and effective way to extract cannabis, once the extract has been made simply pour the tincture directly over the sugar and stir.

Chef’s Notes: To complete the canna sugar the alcohol must be completely evaporated, leaving behind just the extracted cannabis oils that will bind to sugar crystals.

What You Will Need to Make Canna Sugar:

White Sugar

Cheese Cloth (to cover your sugar while evaporating)

Glass 9×13 inch baking dish

Silicone Spatula

1 cup-White Sugar

½ Cup Cannabis Alcohol Tincture

Fact: The more surface area of sugar that is exposed to the air, the faster the alcohol will evaporate off. A glass 9×13 inch baking dish or larger, allows the sugar to be spread out evenly and will help in the evaporation process.

Chef’s Note: This recipe works when infusing white sugars, cane sugars and coconut sugars. See our Ice Dragon Tincture Recipe used to infuse canna sugars.

How to Make Canna Sugars (Using Ice Dragon Tincture)

1. Add the white sugar to the glass baking dish.

2.  Pour the cannabis tincture over the white sugar.

3. Use a rubber spatula to stir the sugar and tincture together, ensuring all of the sugar is coated. The mixture will resemble wet sand.

4.  Allow the mixture to dry for 48-72 hours, stirring frequently.

5. The sugar is ready when all of the alcohol has evaporated and the mixture has turned back to dry sugar.

6. Place the canna sugar in an air-tight container and store it in a cool, dry place.

Storage Notes:  The cannabis sugar should last at least 3 months, if not longer.

Fact: The more you stir the canna sugar, the faster the alcohol will evaporate.

Fact: Canna sugars color can be a light yellow to a dark green. Dark green canna sugar does not mean you have potent canna sugar. Color is only an indicator of how much chlorophyll made it into your Ice Dragon tincture when you made it.

Chef’s notes: Canna sugar is typically used as a condiment, where canna butter is used as a base ingredient. If you want to elevate your recipe you can use canna butter and canna sugar together for a double dose of CBD or THC.

Final Note: Use the THC/CBD calculator and enter your numbers. Keep tract of these numbers and label your final product so you are aware of how much you are taking per dose.

Going to put a little canna sugar in my tea and kick start my morning. Now that tastes good.

Thank you and happy Infusing.
