Chef Sky

Hello I’m Chef Sky from Infuzed Cookin.   Welcome to my Colorado kitchen.

Today we are going to talk about- How to Make RSO Cannabutter for Edibles

This easy method uses RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) for canna butter and is very easy to make. In this video you will find out why RSO is so versatile and can enhance the taste of edibles and how to make RSO canna butter for edibles.

Thank you and let’s get infused……….

Why RSO is so Versatile

RSO is a potent cannabis resin extract that is higher in THC levels than most other extracts. RSO is named after the man who first developed it, medical cannabis activist Rick Simpson.

RSO has very high amount of THC, anywhere from 20%–90% or more when cannabis flower contains around 15% to 20% average THC amounts in comparison.

RSO is made using solvent, using an Ethanol extraction method like the Source Turbo. RSO contains a full spectrum of beneficial cannabinoids.

By combining RSO concentrate with infusion technology like the LEVO 2. Concentrates take home infusions to another level.

Fact: RSO does not need decarboxylation. RSO has been pre-activated and for that reason there is no need for decarboxylation when creating edibles.

Chefs Notes: The versatility of RSOs is one of the reasons they are popular. The RSO concentrate can be directly added into the butter. Or it can be put on a sweet treat or dissolve a drop of RSO into the morning coffee or tea.

Fact: The LEVO II works great for infusing concentrates because of the magnetic stirrer inside the reservoir mixes the concentrate with the oils, time and temperature control and easy dispensing.

Chef’s Notes: Warming the RSO syringe in a bowl of warm water will help dispense the concentrate from the syringe and reduce the risk of breaking the syringe.
